make great memories at this unique, rustic and family-friendly adk base camp This 1900 built, renovated barn is on 2.4 acres in walking distance to Loon Lake, 2 minute drive to the public beach and boat launch and a mere 20 minutes to Gore Ski Mountain! With trail heads right up the street, you can hike, bike, fish, hunt, ski, snowmobile, snowshoe, raft, kayak and tube, explore the region, R&R or sled on Dynamite Hill! 5 minutes off route 87, and 20 minutes from Lake George.

the barn has an open floor plan downstairs flowing from kitchen to living/dining area and one bathroom with newly renovated full bath/shower Upstairs there is a dedicated office space overlooking the living room and an open loft with 2 twin beds, then 2 private bedrooms with two beds each (1 Queen and twin and 2 full size beds). There are closets in each room, dresser and a wardrobe.

please note that although there are towels available for guests these will have to be washed and dried prior to guest departure and the machine is small Please consider bringing your own towels to take back to your home to launder. The beds are made with sheets and bedspreads. Summer weight comforters and Winter duvets with covers are all kept in the wardrobe. The mattresses and pillows are fully encased with waterproof/bed bug free covers.
